Della
Jaclyn’s 7 yr old Oldenburg mare, Della, is one of the most reliable competition horses Jaclyn has ever ridden. Della’s confidence and expression in the show environment is a tribute to her owner’s hard work and careful planning. Jaclyn started competing Della as a 4 yr old, introducing her to the region’s largest shows grounds, and was ranked 12th at Training Level for Horse of the Year with a median of 70.2%. Each year, competing at a higher level, Della has risen to the top of the regional rankings. In 2008, Jaclyn created an award winning freestyle, earning several scores over 70%. Over the last year, Jaclyn has worked to confirm Della’s flying changes in preparation for third level.

Competition Horses

Figaro
Another of Jaclyn's great teachers has been Figaro, her Dutch Warmblood gelding. In 2006, Jaclyn and Figaro started competing at third level. In 2009, Figaro and Jaclyn were awarded Reserve Champion at Intermediare-1 for ESDCTA Year End Awards with a score of 67%. Over the last four years, Figaro has helped Jaclyn to earn several national and regional awards. They have continued to move up the levels together and are now schooling all of the Grand Prix movements.
